Phyllite - is a fine-grained metamorphic rock consisting of kaolinite, sericite and quartz, it is a mineral good with several industrial applications. One of the main uses of phyllite is in the ceramic industry, where it is used as a fluxing agent, helping to melt the ceramic mass for the production of sanitary ware and tableware floors. The phyllite has different colors:  Gray; black; cream; pink; yellow and white.
